SPACE IN THE MANSION

This prestigious Victorian Mansion was built by the Leon family in the late 1800's as their stately home. It is surrounded by landscaped gardens with an ornamental lake and many mature trees. During World War II the Mansion housed 'Station X' to which all of the encrypted military intercepts were sent for analysis. The interior of the Mansion has recently been sympathetically renovated and equipped with modern ICT facilities. Suites in the Mansion are supplied carpeted and equipped with window blinds and generally unfurnished. The rooms are individually secured and the entire Mansion building has a Redcare monitored intruder alarm. There is a large meeting/Board room equipped with which is available for hire by tenants on a daily or hourly basis. There are ladies and gents toilets, two well-equipped kitchens and a photocopier/fax for tenants' use; use of the photocopier is charged on per copy basis. High quality meeting rooms, exhibition and conferencing space are also available for corporate hire elsewhere in the Mansion, together with presentational audio visual equipment and an excellent catering and event management service. |

As you would expect from its history, Bletchley Park is a secure site with a manned security gatehouse at the entrance to the Park controlling access and movements around the Park between 07.00 am to 11.00 pm. The Mansion has external lighting and CCTV coverage supported by seven days a week, out-of-hours static guarding. All offices within the Mansion are currently being upgraded with an individual alarm with Redcare monitoring. The suites within the Mansion can be accessed seven days a week from 7.30am to 10.30pm. We offer licences to occupy with a minimum duration of 6 months and a notice period of one month. We levy a service charge on top of the licence fee to cover utility bills (including electricity, gas and water at normal office usage levels),security costs, general office cleaning and a contribution to the cleaning of the common areas of the Mansion, waste collection, grounds and general building maintenance, car parking and some included internet and email access (see below). Licence fees and service charges are invoiced in 12 equal installments per annum, monthly in advance. We request payment of one month's licence fee and service charge as a refundable deposit. Telephones and ICT services are managed by our on-site Partner. A 100MBit/s bearer with a guaranteed 5 hour fix time service level agreement with the ISP forms the primary connection to the site. Within the Mansion connections are made using RJ45 sockets which are permanently live and the system is configured using software. A standard number of sockets depending on the office size is provided as standard and more can be added if required. Up to 1GB of upload/download bandwidth per month is included in the service charge together with the provision of a dedicated network segment and a firewall. Additional bandwidth usage is charged per GB or part thereof used in any month. Voice over IP telephones are used internally which means that phones can be moved anywhere within the Mansion. Voice is broken out onto primary rate ISDN for external calls. Internet connectivity of 1Mb/s is standard and can be increased if required. With an on-site presence, additions, changes and support on all these matters are managed promptly. Telephone services in the Mansion are charged as an extra. Our basic service provides you with telephone line, handset and a Milton Keynes number from our own dedicated range which would revert to us were you to leave the Mansion. However, we also offer the option to customise the service by adding a non-geographic number (NGN) which means that you would be able to take it with you wherever you moved to within the UK. Our telephone lines are digital so if you require a dedicated fax machine then you would need to have an analogue line and then sufficient digital phone lines to cover your telephone requirements. Alternatively we can also offer the use of a central fax machine on a pay-per-page basis. For budgetary purposes we would invoice you for line and NGN number set-up charges on any services you require on arrival at Bletchley Park. Thereafter line and NGN number rental charges are invoiced monthly in advance and call charges and excess internet bandwidth usage charges are invoiced monthly in arrears. All other charges are for any special requirements that you may have and order from us: eg use of the Meeting Rooms, catering, event management services etc.. These are invoiced monthly in arrears and our standard payment terms are 14 days from date of invoice. There are two kitchens in the Mansion equipped with fridge, microwave, dishwasher and tea and coffee making facilities. A restaurant on site offers hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and hot snacks with discounted rates for tenants. |
